I'm actually excited about the Gen2 class.

I really like what new turbocharged engines are bringing in terms of power and fuel economy (if you stay out of boost). It'll be interesting to see what companies jump on now that this class is offered.

No more cars are to be manufactured in Australia after 2016/2017.

The government refused financial assistance so Ford, GM and Toyota are all taking their bat and ball and going home.

If I remember the figures correctly... A $500 million dollar assistance package was refused. So now the $13 billion automotive supply chain industry and the 50,000 workers employed by it are shit out of luck.
